Jason Bergh

Born and raised on the East Coast, Jason Bergh is an Emmy Award® winner and 2019 NAACP Image Award nominated director, producer, and photographer.

In the past few years, he has directed the Trippie Redd series LIFE’S A TRIPP, documented and the DP of Jennifer Lopez’s HALFTIME; showran and co-directed NOTED: Alicia Keys’ Untold Stories and directed a food travel series for Lupita Nyong'o.  He is currently in production as director of the first documentary coming out of Artist’s Equity, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company.

His empathetic eye and ability to connect with A-list talent is amplified by his acute awareness of the rapidly changing industry; it's this mix of artistry and the business behind that truly makes him a rare talent.

Fascinated by the intersection of sports, music and culture, Jason began his career documenting NYC street culture.  Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2002, Jason worked with Interscope Records, chronicling many of their Hip Hop artists on the road, creating documentaries and directing live concerts.  He won an Emmy Award® for the ESPN 30 for 30, WHEN THE GARDEN WAS EDEN and received a 2019 NAACP Image Award director nomination for BET’s IN A THOUSAND WORDS with Michelle Obama.

*Not to mention he's an amateur chef, who is currently doing some collaborative pop-ups with local Italian grocers and restaurants!
