This past year, Ghetto Gastro led as brand ambassadors across the Diageo portfolio, including Ciroc, Crown Royal, and Don Julio. They were the highlight of the Afropunk festival, cooking up Bites and Beats with Crown Royal Apple. They were featured in Diageo’s Friendsgiving campaign last winter, and this past summer, they starred in the brand’s first Juneteenth media buy. The film was created as part of DIAGEO's ongoing mission to champion inclusivity, including amplifying Black stories told through the lens of Black creatives who are paving the way for change. As part of the Juneteenth campaign, Ghetto Gastro curated a Cocktail Courier kit inclusive of food and drink recipes to celebrate the festivities. The Juneteenth campaign pledged to donate $10 million to HBCUs across the country.
